Pakistan Crusade, Saturday, October 6
On Saturday, October 6, we conducted our second Skype crusade in Pakistan. Once again we reached out to a remote village with the team handling all the logistics there. Pastor John and Rachel have afforded us this opportunity to partner with them for souls in their nation and we are most grateful for the opportunity!
God moved greatly in this second effort as He did in the first. Pastor John's report to us was that One hundred and twenty-eight souls were saved in the village outreach, with thirty-four people repenting from practicing black magic. Nine people were delivered from evil spirits, one of them a woman who had been suffering for four years. Additionally, one person who was involved in "grave" worship (presumably ancestor worship) for 17 years was saved and a woman was healed of a tumor. Many others testified of other healings as well.
Our next video streaming crusade via Skype will be on Wednesday, November 7. We learned today from Pastor John that they had been providing one Bible for every five people who respond to the altar call. However, this is simply not enough. They need to be able to give out more Bibles to those who attend. In addition to this, they are asking our help with transportation. This is a very remote village and they need assistance to transport some of the people in to attend the meeting.
If you would like to help us with this expense, you can make your tax-deductible gift to Connecting Point Church by going to our Donate page. Your gifts will go to bringing more souls into the Kingdom of God and provide resources for their continued growth. Please pray for us as we continue in this endeavor that more and more will come to a saving knowledge of Christ and that the team there will be protected from all reprisals for their faithful work for the Lord.
